We offer travel services to wherever you are most comfortable within the Jacksonville-area. Some of our high-demand travel sites include in-home, preschools, private schools, behavioral therapy clinics, and shopping outings! We also have a clinic location in the Arlington area.

We operate as a private-pay practice so therapy can be guided by clinical need rather than insurance rules. This allows individualized goals, appropriate session length and frequency, and services that may not covered by insurance. We are also direct pay providers for the Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES-UA) and Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville (DSAJ). We can also provide a Super Bill upon request.

Speech Without Borders, LLC provides speech-language evaluations and treatments for all ages within the following areas: -augmentative and/or alternative communication (AAC) -language delay -pragmatic language/social skills -reading and written language -articulation disorders

AAC stands for augmentative and/or alterative communication. This refers to any form of aids or technology to supplement verbal speech. Some commonly known examples are picture exchange (e.g., PECS), communication boards, and high tech speech output devices. Alisha at Speech Without Borders, LLC has 10+ years experience in the evaluation for AAC devices including submissions to insurance for speech-generating device (SGD) funding, as appropriate. In addition, training for the client, family, and support system regarding the programming and use of these devices is imperative for communication success and is a niche speciality provided by Speech Without Borders, LLC.
